still under construction! sorry about the lag on computers. look at this shit on mobile instead, it's less choppy.

I SEE YOU'RE INTERESTED IN MY BS I'VE BEEN COOKING FOR WAY TOO LONG???👀👀👀👀 PLEASE HAVE A LOOK 👀👀👀👀👀 ASK ME ANYTHING YOU'D LIKE 👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀
Please note that if you see StC (subject to change) anywhere it means that I’m still working out that detail to some degree.
Rem, a spiteful, self-destructive young man is able to be possessed by two warring gods. Between the promise of his missing father’s whereabouts or to remain with his past-life best friend, he must work out where his priorities lie or continue to chase death.
- GENRE: Fantasy if it beat up and stole sci-fi’s clothes in an alleyway, so science-fantasy.
- SPECS: I'm overzealous, so it's meant to be a series. At a minimum, a trilogy. Maybe a quartet. Hopefully not more, but maybe more if needed lol. I have not planned this thing out adequately. (I'M WORKING ON IT THOUGH!!!!!!!! TRUST!!!!!!!!!!!)
- In terms of potential final word count (for this first thing), I'm hoping to keep it below 130,000 words, ideally at 120,000 words.
- Current working title for it is GODSend re:Emergence (for the first book). Another title if that one doesn't work out for whatever reason is (Genesis Fugue) Adamantine Symphony, or maybe some shit like Crystalline Bodies but I don't like that title lol.
- Thematic: Evangelion (this shit may as well be Evangelion fanfiction)
- Book comps specifically: The Spear Cuts Through Water (god I fucking HOPE I can write as good as this book one day), possibly Iron Widow, though I have to look into it more.
- Aesthetics: your average sci-fantasy gacha game lol.
You’re getting a broad-strokes version cuz some details I think will need to be altered but I don’t wanna commit to saying anything overly substantial right now.
In an Earth ravaged by Distortion Wastes, ruins of old herald another oncoming apocalypse—a sealed god will return to merge the two parallel worlds. Meanwhile, a young man named Rem believes there’s more to his condition of Chronic Distortion than meets the eye. It doesn’t usually entail being haunted by an incensed wraith, or cutting off his now-missing father’s arm.
After unexpectedly saving Aluaris, his supposed other half, from an ancient slumber, he finally learns of his keystone position in an ongoing holy war as the Creation god’s vessel—specifically for her body. In order to properly play his role again, Rem must be able to merge with Aluaris to restore the Creation god so the seal can be reinforced, lest both worlds be razed. However, it’s hard for Rem to even think about merging with Aluaris when their relationship is founded on guilt and lies. In a past life when Rem and Aluaris were best friends, they were torn apart by previous-Rem’s premature death. Five thousand years later, after they meet again, Aluaris forgets everything, leaving Rem to carry memories that aren’t his own.
In the midst of a dance around Aluaris’s delicate memories, the Creation god demands that Rem and Aluaris must reconnect their halved states. However, in the process, old wounds on Rem’s injured soul reopen, and the sealed god manages to take possession of his body. Tangled between warring gods and familiar old faces, Rem must find what matters most to him and haul ass in pursuit.
